The Bloggers Summers Hangout

One of the great things about blogging is being able to go to events. Not only do you get to socialise and interact with fantastic old and new brands, but you also get to mingle with other bloggers that you have only spoken to online but new ones that you have just met and gel with from the get go.

This is my second time going to a bloggers hangout event and after how much fun I had the first time, I was so excited when I was invited to attend their latest one. This Hangout was particularly special- It was their 3rd Birthday and I knew they would be going in BIG!

Like the last time I went with my girl Rianne Mitchell. We headed to the Strand Gallery (the venue it was being held). thank god for my girl, because I aint about that travel/direction life and if it wasn’t for her, I don’t know how long it would of taken me to get there. By the time we did reach, I knew straight away we were in the right place. There was blogger chicks chatting and giggling outside, A photographer taking photos of a model and the atmosphere was so bubbly and lit. May I add that London Pride was taking place so everyone just looked happy and chilled.

Entering the gallery we were greeted with friendly smiles from the brands and the bloggers in attendance. Upstairs being so packed as it was, we decided to start downstairs, then make our way to the top.

You guys already know I have a sweet tooth, so you could imagine my delight when the first stand i came into contact with was filled with delicious, heart eyes emoji sweeties. I grabbed a Candy Bar bag and filled it up with those yummy treats.

Moving on was the Pink Parcel. The Pink parcel is a monthly subscription box, filled with tampons and pads and other cheery goodies to help brighten up your mood for when mother nature is about to come knocking. Each parcel comes with a tea to help subside the cramps and a nice choccie because- Do I really need to explain? Then a bunch of different beauty products that changes each month. The girls were so lovely and gave me my own Pink Parcel box to personalise myself.

Done with everything downstairs, we made our way upstairs. The venue was very hot and my weave was quite near going from front to back (Does anyone else tap their weave ratchet when they are hot? No Just me? Okkkkk then!) so I was practically giddy when I saw Cocktail Mania. Cocktail Mania is a brand which is based in old Kent road that sells alcoholic slushies, Alcohol Milkshakes, Cupcakes, Chocolate bar milkshakes and Punch. I can see this brand going very far especially this summer, with everyone getting turned up and tipsy on slush puppies! Being the lightweight I wasn’t even trying to embarrass myself in front of people and opted for the non alcoholic strawberry dreams. A dream it was indeed and I cant wait to head over this summer and try their other slushies!

regenerate

Regenerate was the next brand to catch my eye. A toothpaste which repairs enamels and its damaging effects, I was best pleased to receive from them their, Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste and their Enamel Science Boosting Serum Kit (which can only be used once a month). Being addicted to sweets and anything sugary, my teeth having really felt the affects and with continuous use of the toothpaste I’m hoping it will get my teeth back to how they should be.

sass

Sass and Belle- O.M.G! Ladies this brand is every bloggers dream for cutesy props to use in your photos. I literally wanted everything they had on display (glasses, cups, frames, cushions, pens, pencils and a bloody cactus PEOPLE!) and was asking the girls how much for a particular cup that sparked my attention. Unfortunately they couldn’t sell me anything as it was all for display, but I was advised that they had a shop in Clapham Common, which is not far from me at all, so you can bet your bottom dollar, I’ll be going there very soon.

I just wanna say a quick thank you too all the brands in attendance. It must be pretty draining standing by your stand all day, repeating yourselves but everyone was such a good sport and were so friendly and welcoming. Well done Bloggers Hangout and I hope you had a splendid Happy Birthday!

Whose been to a bloggers hangout or any bloggers event and how did you find it? What was the best part and would you go again? Thank you so much for reading and I’ll see you in my next post.

    1. It was nice meeting new bloggers. I can’t lie I was nervous, but I’m like that meeting new people in general anyway. But honestly everyone is so lovely and kind it’s easy to come out of your shell! Oooh will check out your YT channel xx
